Carbon Velo and Velo Paintworks are delighted to offer customers a one-stop-shop for your custom-painted frameset. Through our collaboration, your new bike or frameset can be delivered to you fully customised!
- Take advantage of a free design session with Liam @ Velo Paintworks who will listen to your ideas and expertly guide you through your options.
- Purchase your frameset from the Carbon Velo website and select the Custom Paint option from the colour selector. We'll deliver it to Velo Paintworks for painting.
- Liam will keep you updated throughout the painting process and deliver your frameset direct to your door, or back to us for building.
How much does custom paint cost?
Prices start from £450. Final cost depends on the complexity of your design and finish and this will be discussed during your design consultation.
How long does the custom paint process take?
Velo Paintworks will advise on their wait times when you discuss your design but always endeavour to complete work within 4-6 weeks.
Do you supply unpainted frames for custom painting?
Some of the our range is available to purchase as raw, unpainted frames, ready for custom paint. Finished, painted frames can also be sent to Velo Paintworks and these will require stripping back to raw carbon before your design can be applied.
Who are Velo Paintworks?
VELOPAINTWORKS is owned and run by Liam Crichton, an award winning, international practicing artist and custom bicycle painter. As well as Carbon Velo, VELOPAINTWORKS is the painting partner for DONARD, Ireland's leading framebuilder.

Can custom paint be included in a C2W voucher purchase?
No. Only the purchase cost of your frameset or complete bike can be funded by a voucher. You pay Velo Paintworks directly for the cost of their paint service.
Can I create a design without logos?
You can create any design of your choice with Velo Paintworks but we do prefer that at least small brand logos are placed on each frame for identification purposes. It is a condition of the warranty that the frame remains identifiable and a UCI sticker be shown.
