Welcome to Carbon Velo. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About Carbon Velo

Carbon Velo supplies premium bicycles, framesets, wheels, components and accessories throughout the United Kingdom. We specialise in carefully selected performance products and bespoke UK assembly.

2. Ordering

Orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed only when we confirm that your order has been accepted.

Occasionally products may become unavailable or pricing errors may occur. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss suitable alternatives or arrange a refund.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on our website include UK VAT @ 20% unless otherwise stated.

For products that have been imported by us, we have paid all required UK duties and fees, and therefore our advertised prices include these with nothing additional to pay.

Prices may change without notice, however any confirmed order will be honoured at the agreed purchase price.

4. Payment

Payment must be received before goods are dispatched unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing.

We accept payment using the methods displayed during checkout.

5. Bespoke Bike Builds

Complete bicycles supplied by Carbon Velo are individually specified and assembled to the customer's requirements.

Because these bicycles are built to order, changes may not be possible once assembly has commenced.

We will always communicate with you throughout the build process should any product availability or specification changes become necessary.

6. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate.

Manufacturers may update specifications without notice. Where changes occur that materially affect your order, we will contact you before dispatch.

Product images are provided for illustration purposes and may differ slightly from the supplied product.

7. Delivery

Delivery times shown are estimates only.

While we make every effort to dispatch orders promptly, delays outside our reasonable control may occasionally occur.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Ownership remains with Carbon Velo until payment has been received in full.

8. Inspection on Delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If goods arrive damaged, please report this to the courier. If the incorrect items arrive, please notify us promptly so we can resolve the issue quickly.

9. Warranty

Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the relevant manufacturer.

Where products have been supplied by Carbon Velo, we will assist customers with warranty claims and provide UK-based support wherever possible.

Warranty terms do not cover damage resulting from misuse, crashes, crush damage, incorrect installation by third parties, installation carried out without the correct tools, unauthorised modification, neglect or normal wear and tear.

10. Rider Safety

Customers are responsible for ensuring their bicycle is maintained in a safe condition.

We recommend that all bicycles are inspected regularly and serviced by suitably qualified mechanics in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the above, Carbon Velo's liability shall be limited to the value of the goods supplied.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and branding, remains the property of Carbon Velo unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
